Has any other mommies or mommies to be came up with a birth plan? Or did you just kind of dealt with things as they came along? If you have done a birth plan in the past I would love to hear about how well t worked being prepared ? Or if you have one now tell me about it. 🙄 I'm currently 25wks so I'm trying to get everything in order before I get bigger and lazier than I already am! Lol

I never did a birth plan and won't be with this one. My hospital has asked me one question about delivering, and that's it. I honestly didn't mind at all, I'm the type of person that if I have a "plan" it will never go according to, so I just winged my firsts delivery, and pretty much will this time.

yup @chasinghappiness . The Maternity ward at my hospital is amazing but definitely didnt do anything on my birth plan lol so I'm not mad. I'll just make sure its actually done this time.

Most times a birth plan goes right out the window when you're in actual labor. Lol

also it helps to look at it now bc some things I had to look up to know what they were that way you don't have to try and focus on what they are asking you and youll know the terms already

Birth Plan Rant I used to be all about getting an epidural, but after research and thinking about it more I want to have an unmedicated birth (this is my first baby). What annoys me is when I say that I'm going to TRY my hardest to have a natural and unmedicated birth people always feel the need to say that I'm crazy or that I'm going to change my mind when I get in that position. Or that epidurals are the best. I do realize that plans change, but why can't people be supportive and encouraging?
