Why can't we just say Merry Christmas?
Seems like people are trying to remove Christ out of everything. At my son's school they sang "Joy to the world, my shoppings done" like what the heck!
but I don't discriminate whatsoever. people are allowed to believe what they believe that's what freedom of religion is. I just think it's petty for a company to tell you what you can and can't say especially when it's been referred to as Christmas since it began lol
I know it's just like taking in God we trust off the dollar bill or out of the pledge of allegiance. I'm guessing because the word Christ is in Christmas and some people dont believe in Christianity. I guess some people feel like it's pushing religion. idk but I'm a Christian and I will never take Christ out of Christmas.
yeah when I worked retail we weren't allowed to say merry Christmas because it might "offend people" (its all about money and or business) so we had to say happy holidays. I said merry Christmas anyways :)
I say Merry Christmas because I celebrate Christmas, if others want to say Happy Holidays back its ok with me, but I don't like being told not to say Merry Christmas and I'm not a fan of taking Christ out of Christmas either. @kiara459
