Mommies that had vaginal birth how did you know when your stitches were healed or dissolved and how long until you had sex if it isnt tmi please answer

My stitches dissolved after a week but the scar r reopened at 6 weeks. I had comfortable sex at 4 weeks.

we kinda failed and only waited a month, but I could still feel the tenderness of the stiches, still feel it sometimes. I'd say wait the 6 weeks and if you feel good go for it

5 weeks I was healed when I could sit in the bathtub with out pain and I waited a month until I had sex again @mommykarma

My stitches didn't fully dissolve until 6 weeks & I didn't have sex until 3 months post partum. was a little uncomfortable at first tho @mommykarma
