I'm getting worried that if little man doesn't make his own way out I'll have to be induced. I've heard that's it's more painful as it's going against what your body wants 😢 I really don't want this to happen it's actually giving me anxiety 😢
Also, if you have to be induced, you have nothing to compare the pain too so it won't be any worse for you Haha. Just tell yourself that. All women feel labour differently anyway and all of them say different parts were the worst part for them. No matter what happens you will have your baby at the end of it and you will forget all about it lol xx
oh dear I think I'll stick to one baby I've found the pregnancy a killer in a sense I'm lucky as I've had no problems and this concern is one most first time mums will have, as long as he is healthy and what not I'm happy. Just last the minuet nerves I think 😐 @tuftyturtle xx
At least when you're overdue, your body is more ready than when you're early. I'm being induced around 36 weeks and my body is no where near ready. I'm dreading it. When I was in labour last time, I couldn't dilate past 5 cms and had to have the drip they give during induction and i didn't think it was any worse than my natural contractions. It really sped things up thou so I was grateful for it.
Yeah 👍 you and me both. I hope this one comes soon, I've had enough and still got a week and 4 days till due date :( x
Yeah it sounds likes it's more intense, fingers crossed he decides to come soon so that won't be the case! @vic22 xx
My mums had 4 kids and she was induced with her last. she hated it, because it's going against what your body wants. The contractions are made to come quicker and stronger. But everyone is different. x
I was induced with Lydia. The sweeps and having my waters broken were uncomfortable, but the pain etc is the same. You shall be just fine chick.. 💜
sadly things don't always go to plan and I know it's disappointing but chances are baby will decide to come before the induction date. You still have time so keep your chin up =) xx
I know its gonna hurt was just hoping I wouldn't need any help, but these days seem to be going fast and no sign or anything 😑 @zaralee71 xxx
I wouldn't worry hun, labour is painful no matter what so I doubt there is any difference between being induced or not. Try to keep calm xx
Me to, it's literally my only worry about giving birth is having to be induced & I've done all the tricks in the book & nothings happened 😡 @winterbaby95 xx
Awe hope it works hun! getting induced is my worst nightmare too! I basically want to do things drug free if I can and all natural! @shannon391 xx
I know they won't I'll be getting induced on the 1st if no sign, and they tried to do a sweep on Monday but couldn't because my cervix wasn't soft enough, got another one on Sunday and then again on the Wednesday 😢 @winterbaby95 xx
I was induced and unfortunately you go from 0-everything in the quickest time and unlike natural contractions , induction doesn't allow your body that short time In between to recover - which is why statistically women get epidurals / assisted delivery etc. it took everything I had to not shout give me every drug imaginable... But you have to stay in control and just keep telling yourself temporary pain for a permanent bundle of joy . Xx
