I will be 36 weeks pregnant tomorrow. my question is, even though someone washed the clothes they gave me for my son, should I re-wash them? I only have Tide detergent, and I'm worrying if my son could end up allergic to it if I re-wash his clothes with it.

with all the work I've done today I'm surprised I haven't.

My OB says as long as it's light in scent and just do a double rinse in the wash he should be just fine. Also only use as much as the lid says don't add any extra for a better smell.

@barbeedoll01, thanks. I know I saw All baby detergent. I'll have to get my fiance to Walmart to get some so I can wash my sons clothes

I personally would rewash them in dreft to be on the safe side

I wash my baby's clothes with the soap we use. I just don't use a lot at all. just a tiny bit of it. cleans them good and he's fine
