Sorry about this post being upsetting but I feel so discouraged. I've had a perfectly healthy, non-complicated pregnancy and passed every test with flying colors. I've been determined to do labor and delivery without an epidural and I was telling everyone that and my family is pretty much like "if that's what you want, go for it" and my in-laws are telling me that I will NEED it because the pain is so bad. :/ Which just pretty much scared me so much worse considering I'm a FTM. 😢
btw it's also better if you have your S.O be there & support you. it helps a lot :)
There's no shame in that either! Lol do whatever feels best for you. It's your body your baby and your labor!
honestly there's nothing to be scared of. I'm a ftm and through my whole pregnancy I kept saying I was not going to get an epidural and I stuck to that. a lot of people told me its good that I choose not to take it and there were others who told me I need to get it because I won't be able to handle the pain. When it finally came down to labor I took every inch pain and at the end I was like wow I did it 😱 I still can't believe I went through it lmao.
@boogersbugsanddirt, @mrsschutte1323 I'm definitely not shaming the epidural at all, I just wanted to experience the full thing without it to see what it's like and something I can say that I did by myself and I would feel so accomplished if that makes any sense. :) Not that an epidural is bad or anything, I just want to do the whole thing without it. :)
I needed the epidural but that's only because I've never been good with pain and my was was measuring 6 weeks ahead and I went 5 days past my due date so I had a Huge baby boy at 10lbs 9.8oz 22.5inches long and his head circumference was 15.5
Idk what to do now. I told my hubby beforehand that to KEEP telling me positive things, rub my back, cuddle me, and when I'm doubting myself to tell me I don't need an epidural that I could do it, no matter what happens.
Don't be scared. Make the decision when you're in labor, that's what I did. I had one epidural and one natural.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Does anyone else see a faint line? My husband is pretty much calling me stupid because I see it

I am only on my 2nd trimester and I gained so much weight! 😭 Can you mommas tell me what’s like a normal weight gain to be expected, please.
I am 10 minutes into an episode of catfish and I've already laughed so hard that I've cried and snorted. Omg I canna, I canna. This is just way too much for me. My man is side eyeing me like I am a maniac.
How much have you ladies gained so far ?? I've gained 64lbs 😳 my husband makes me feel shitty when I indulge by reminding me how hard it's gonna be to lose the weight once baby comes. I don't know if it hurts my feelings or pisses me off but my dr doesn't seem to be concerned about all this weight I've gained I started at 106lb so I was small to begin with. Talk about stressful
I feel the same way
