Hi girls. 2 weeks ago I had my regular doctors appointment and he did a quick ultrasound which he does every visit. He said that we are having a boy ,80%. yesterday I had my 2nd trimester sonogram and the tech wasn't sure but said it's probably a girl since she can't see anything flying there. She said im not confirming though. I don't know who to believe. I'm 18 weeks

@prettybrown4268, here in nyc they try at 16 weeks. for my sister they told her at 12 weeks and we're right.
honestly no u/s tech should say they think its one sex because they don't see something. definitely don't believe it til they tell you why they think which gender. they should know better than to say that. smh.
for example; mine they said its a girl because of these three lines and explained what they were . :)
I'm surprised they tried to determine so early. Maybe around 20 they can give you a more definite answer.
@mommychina_, exactly, I was watching so closely too. She said she saw it for a split second but babies position really didn't let her see anything. After she did vaginal and still couldn't tell.
@tommy247, if the legs were closed I don't think she would have been able to see the lines . you should just wait to get checked one more time to confirm.
