Well protein shakes make most adults have gas so it wouldn't be surprising if it is having the same effect on the baby.

Try a vegan protein shake. A pea protein is easier digested than whey protein. Also, go to a 1/2 scoop a day and build up to the whole scoop.

I just saw your baby is a month? The gas should subside after about 12 weeks. Until then, their digestive systems are learning how to work. Hahha I drink Shakeology everyday through pregnancy and nursing with both my boys...ummm 70+ superfoods a day was some major gas! Lol but my little guy didn't get sick even once until he was just about a year old despite 2 older sibs in middle school. My newest guy is 10 weeks and same thing. Keep yourself healthy and you'll keep the babe healthy!

Thanks @erinflaherty818 my little guy is 6 weeks and for the last two weeks or so he would scream for hours straight so I started eliminating things from my diet to see and since I've stopped the whey protein he hasn't had a screaming fit. It's only been 4 days but its something. Now that I have resumed my normal workout routine, we are a little worried about my protein intake and recovery time. I'll have to look into a vegan based protein powder. Thanks!

How's your little man doing with the whey protein?!? Does he seem to be tolerating it better? If not, maybe try using something else that uses a pea protein.

Yes! He is past the gas stage thank goodness! I hated seeing him so uncomfortable. I'm back to dairy and he is a happy camper. Win win! @erinflaherty818 thanks again!
