I never used padsicles, I don't even like the idea of them. I'm a tampon person too. I NEVER used pads... After my first pregnancy was the ONLY time, and they still drove me crazy 😖 definitely not looking forward to it this time around! Ice was never too needed.

I was thinking this too. Plus how safe is it to put something frozen directly on your lady bits?! You're supposed to wrap ice packs so you don't get burns...

you say that now until you feel those amazing cooling pads they give you in the hospital! I've never tried the homemade ones before but if they are anything like the hospital ones....oh yea!!!! I bet you could make them more sanitary, just cover the pad part with sterile gauze pads... just an idea.

@maybaby2016, that's true you never know until you're there. I'll deff try them at the hospital and see how it feels but I don't see myself making them at home. For me it's not really a sanitary issue its just I really hate pads as it is I can't imagine wearing one full of not only blood but frozen junk that's slowly melting lol

@bria.k, exactly I just don't understand how it works... Like how do you have a frozen pad in your pants and it's not running everywhere and burning you.. & wouldn't your blood just run off the sides instead of absorbing if the pads frozen?

I hear ya, I'm a tampon girl all the way but if I'm going to be forced to wear them I might as well enjoy the cooling ones. I don't see myself making my own but I am going to shove as many of the ones the hospital provides in my purse before I leave there, lol. with my last pregnancy they wouldn't let me take any home....greedy bastards lol. my insurance pays for that shit 😤

@babybermea, pain really freaks me out. I'm stressed about thinking about having to care for my lady bits after lol. Like I don't wanna touch it I don't wanna pee I'm scared to bath & most of all poop but I have to 😂
