My newborn hasn't pooped in 24 hours, a little more than that. I read the discharge papers from the hospital and it said to take him to the doctor. I don't want to though if its common. I did switch formulas from the newborn to the enfamil infant powder because that's what the WIC gave me. Could that be the reason?
What brand of newborn diapers do y'all recommend ? I got a lot of diapers from the babyshower but only one little pack of newborns and want to at least buy a couple boxes .
I will not be tested for COVID unless I am showing all signs of having it! They taking newborn babies away from their mothers if they test positive. Over my cold dead body! No ONE will take my baby away from me bet!

Ugh I know everybody parent differently but why are people so hard on newborns baffles me seriously....how do I MAKE my newborn sleep longer,how can I STOP my newborn from being clingy,how can I STOP my newborn from crying so much? How would you feel if you NEVER been somewhere before and you get there and all of a sudden people start trying to demand this and that of you would you feel like you walked into a boot camp of some sort? Really think about that....I'm done ranting I'm a bit annoyed

I was the say same way and I was told that newborns can go up to 8 days without pooping

that just happened to my little guy. He ended up going at the end of day 2 and then didn't go again for a day and have me a good one today

It could just be the mucus plug, my newborn did the same thing an the doc made her poop but she's pooping fine now

I think it's more common than you think. I was told if they went more than 3 days without going than that's when you'll wanna take them in

My daughter pooped every other day to every three days. The doctor said it was totally normal. If it goes more than 4 days I would call.
