Okay lady's I need your opinions. do you think it would be okay for me to pump right now I'll be 39 weeks Saturday and only reason is my left tittie will not stop leaking I put a pad on and it got to the point of leaking through my pad and bra and soaking it so bad I had to take my bra off and ring it out. like omg.
and I don't disagree that leaking through everything is annoying but if you look up some remedies on Google maybe you can find something that will help
not everyone will have the all famous drop. and honestly pumping dosnt help the leaking the more the baby feeds and the more your pump the more you produce.. it's a supply and demand. the more that's demanded of your body the more it will produce
it's really not that I don't like leaking even though it is a little annoying. it really doesn't bother me I just figured since there is so much it would help @aphrodite2014 I really didn't know though. I'm also dilated to a two but my belly hasn't "dropped".
she's 39 weeks if it starts labor it will start labor.. it's not a huge deal.. it's just as bad as the sex over excersising and everything else people do to try to jump start labor
yeah.... you could do like @aphrodite2014 said.. I just know it's something my breast feeding councilor said not to do.
@kambriismommy, cool just if you start contacting stop and wait a while before trying again. also if you don't like leaking now just wait till your milk comes in. I'd suggest finding something that helps with the leaking or better pads maybe use period pads cut in half
she's 39 weeks it will put her in labor but it wouldn't hurt her because the baby should be there with in the week. as long as baby is head down I don't see why not. however I'd personally just milk yourself with your hands..
From my understanding, the more you express something out of your boob, the more your body creates, so I don't think it'd help the leaking.
Pumping now isn't a problem based on the research I have done. After 28 weeks it cannot send you into preterm labor. If you pump now, you will pump what they call Colostrum, which is good to have for the baby if you don't get to immediately pump after delivery. The Drs can give the baby the colostrum until you meet again. I plan on pumping as soon as my dr gives me the ok. Good luck
