Mucus plug question. When lost was it a huge clump or did it come out separately over time in stringy mucus?

Mine came out over time then the day I went into labor it was a huge glob. I went to hospital and was 5-6cm dilated. Then lost the rest of it with the bloody show

Saturday at 1AM, lost my mucus plug/bloody show, and I was freaking out! A couple of hours later I had cramping, but felt like BH just a little stronger. They came and went, but felt stronger with each hour. Didn't sleep that whole night! 35 weeks 4 days, baby's heartrate was 131, and my fluid level is at a 20 now. I've gained 2 pounds over the last week, I'm now 136, yayy.. belly was measuring 34 weeks, but baby is now in 10 percentile. Had to get my strep test done today also. So about 3 weeks ago I had a miscarriage... I haven't posted about it as it's been a crappy few weeks and been getting my head around it all.. well today I've been having clear mucus when I wipe (tmi sorry). It's been happening the past few days, I've been tired, appetite has been up and down, bloated etc.. I know the right thing to do is take a test but how long after a miscarriage is it possible to be pregnant? I'm not sure whether it's just ovulation that could be happening.. I'm so confused😩
