opinions..
my son will be 5 weeks friday. today I've discovered he's a stomach sleeper. when he's on his back, he'll roll to his side and onto his belly.
if he falls asleep on me and I put him down on his back, he wakes up. but, if I put him down on his stomach, he stays asleep... i can even just lay him down on his stomach and within 10 min hes out.. what are your opinions on stomach sleeping for a baby so young?

Yeah. Anne's had hers up since the week she came home because I always had her laying on her tummy. I would say as long as he can lift his head up he's okay. She can roll but she's just getting to where she's rolling to her tummy while sleeping. Everyone tells me if they do it themselves then leave them. It's still unsettling
yes, he's got great head control, and a strong neck. the doctor was even commenting on it today at the doctor. @shortizzie
Thats the only way my daughter slept as well, at 11 months old she still prefers to sleep that way. I'd say just always make sure baby is on a flat area, no extra blankets or pillows. That's what I did.
My step mom is always commenting on how babys "these days" are already so advanced
