Doctor's appointment was disappointing... no progress in dilation since the last check up. 😢 They told me we're going to schedule an induction date next time I go in considering my due date is the 16th. I'm so nervous if I actually have to get induced because I heard it's a little bit more of a chance that the baby could go in distress and I get a C-Section. :(
@mrscolon, So it wasn't as bad as you thought? & I was told you had to be awake for a C-Section. Didn't know you had the option to sleep, but then again most women would want to be awake to see their baby be born.
@weslexis, oh believe me so am I! But for me, when I was told I had to have it, I was panicking honestly, but I was told since it was an emergency c-section & they had no time for an epidural they had to put me to sleep, they rushed me into the or & I fell asleep, within about 15 minutes I was told the baby was there, the healing process is a bit pain in the ass, but as long as everything is done right it'll be okay, I'm having a c-section with this one & I'm kind of nervous not gonna lie lol
@mrscolon, I'm terrified of surgery! Especially while you're awake? I've never had surgery before...what was it like? x_x
Sadly, I was one of those stories, with my last pregnancy I got induced & the baby's heart rate ended up decreasing & had to get an emergency c-section 😕 but not everyone is like that though just try to stay positive 😉
don't worry I was induced and everything went well I was also scared because the pain is worse with the pitosen idk if I spelled that rite but God is watching over you and your baby I hope everything works out try lots of walking to help you
relax mommy I'd say do tour best at trying all the natural ways.. I've Hurd evening Primrose helps and other herbal teas help.. also sex if your have an S/O if not do the job yourself.. also start walking and bouncing on the ball. if you need to be induced it's what's best for baby but if they are trying to induce before your due date I'd fight it. there are plenty of women who go up to 5 or 5 days past then go into natural labor. I wouldn't go more then thay past your due date though
It wasn't, I mean at first I thought the worst but it wasn't that bad, & for planned c-sections you do have to be awake, but for emergency ones, most of the time you're put to sleep because there's no time for epidural
