Don't do it! I took castor oil in my previous pregnancy & my peanut swale meconium & I had to get an emergency c-section

Oh I tried nipple stimulation just to see if I would feel anything and yes I did! Contractions came instantly! Lol I stopped tho. But will def be trying it at 38 weeks.

I took it with my first 13yrs ago and it worked! I was on the toilet but I kept hydrated with water and Gatorade. I went into labor the next day. My water broke but I was already dilated to 3. If my dr gives the ok I plan on taking it again. Castor oil doesn't pass thru to the baby. What makes it dangerous is if mom doesn't stay hydrated as it can keep u running to the toilet. Pitocin and other medicines used to induce birth has a higher chance of baby to have a bm more than castor oil.

I heard nipple stimulation works. I just walked up a few flights of stairs and did kegels, my water broke the next day.

I did with my baby and this is my first and it did not work at all neither did the whole pineapple thing!! The Castro oil made me constipated mil ovebabyjosiah

It's pretty rare for baby to have a bowel movement from castor oil because it doesn't pass through the baby's system. I took castor oil at 2pm and went into labor at 10 pm and had baby the next day. if I could do it over again I would have let him come when he was ready. He was born on his due date, and he is my first, but now that I'm not preggo I miss it and wish I enjoyed it longer. but yes, castor oil worked for me!

no please don't do it.. it can cause baby to have their first bowel movement in the sac and if they swallow the fluid after they do it can cause them to pass away): I know because my best friend tried it and that's exactly what happened.

I did, it didn't work at all like its supposed to give you the shits to start contractions and it didn't even do that.
