Is it weird that my doctor will induce me before I even reach 41 weeks? I don't really know what to think about it.

I think it really depends my sister went almost 2 weeks past her due date but she was going have it vaginally ended up having a c section though

I think you should trust your Dr. I had my appt today and my Dr scheduled me for a cesarean on Thursday, which is 1 day past my due date. I'm having a lot of mixed feelings about it, but my baby is measuring very large and my Dr is concerned with complications. I'm tired of debating, and am going to trust her. I have heard many positive stories with being induced, and I am sure everything will be well with you & your baby. Good luck! 💓

He said he doesn't like the baby to get too big...increasing c-section/complications, and he said something about after 40 weeks the placenta starts supporting the baby less. @varduim

I guess induction just makes me nervous. I mean, I'm going in just 2 days after my due date...he says he doesn't like to go much further past 40 weeks because of risks...but there is also risks involved with getting induced😕 @raaganmommy2015

What are her reasons? Have you made any progress or dilated so far?
