I need opinions. I have a 7 year old niece. She has been telling me that she wants an American girl doll. I told her that I bought her an American girl doll a few years ago. I never go to my brothers house; I always see my niece at my moms. Today we were looking at the AG catalog together and she ran home to her house (she lives right next door to my mom) to get the doll I got her. It is not the doll I gave her. It's not even American Girl. No one in my family gets along with my sister in law and everyone thinks she sold the doll. Should I ask or let it go? It was a gift to my niece so I know I shouldn't care what happened to it. It's just frustrating that my niece really wants the doll, but should already have one.
definitely ask, I would ask your brother. It might not seem like a big deal to you but that's really shitty that you can't buy your neice anything valuable cuz it might get sold, sold for what, drugs? If you get her anything just make sure it stays at ur moms. I can't stand a pos stealing from a kid. I know its only a doll, but that is not the point. just about every family has a thief:-(
I would definitely ask. that would be so wrong to sell it. also I live in york! you're the first person I've seen on here that lives close to me!
I would ask. Not in a rude way! But hell yeah find out. That's messed up if she did!
That's so messed up I really hope her mom wouldn't sell it ! That's just wrong !
@onemoretime, I would ask! Those dolls are expensive, and she had no right to sell it if she did.
That is really annoying. My uncles gf has done that with my 2 little cousins. She has gotten rid of so much clothes, toys & jewelery over the years. We think she sells them, but no idea. It's to the point where my family doesn't want to buy things for the kids anymore. It's very sad. You should say something, at least make it known.
