I'd say see a lactation consultant and see what yall a can do if that dosnt work I'd say try pumping and bottle feeding.. the formula is very hard on babies stomach and they can have more spit up and problems digesting it and they can have reflux too

also put your finger in her mouth when she's done eating to unlatch her so she doesn't pull on you

yeah try to say a LC I wouldn't give up yet the first week can be really hard just make sure her top lip is flanged out as much a possible and only have a little of the top of your nipple showing when latched

I only breastfed Jax for like 10 days...I was crying every time he fed it was really hard. Now I'm exclusively pumping and feeding him bottled breast milk. Mama is so much happier. Happy mama happy baby! You have to do what's best for you

Dont feel bad momma ... Im going to state MY OPINION before i get attacked by people who disagree remember this is my opinion. I feel like once you become pregnant the doctors & almost everyone push so hard for you to breastfeed & yeah i know it's the best thing but don't put me down when i want to stop it and say but its best for your baby it's like they put you down and make you feel bad. But some moms just can't handle it and that's alright i was one if those moms me and baby girl just werent on the same level and society has put this thought in our mind that no we shouldn't stop or else were bad moms .... Just how I feel sorry but if you need to stop hey it's okay but you give it your all momma ! Either way you succeeded because you gave it your all

Could you try a nipple shield? If it's painful it may be a sign that baby isn't latching on well enough.

Also them hurting or being raw is normal get nipple cream

Talk to a lactation consultant with my first it hurt every time I put her on until I had an LC help me and then we BF for almost 2 years
