hooray!!! I am officially 1 cm dialated after weeks of trying to get some progression it worked.. the only question is now is how fast till labor starts if I don't have my princess this week I'll have to be induced... a little scared for that

@2novbabies, true that! but even at 40 weeks, your baby should be fine. it sucks but some women have gone to 41 to 42 weeks and their babies have been fine. due dates are not always spot on. the doctors would just have to keep an eye on heart rate and everything and make sure they don't have their first poop.
I'm at 1 cm too and we can be this way for weeks. You don't HAVE to be induced why are they telling you that
it can progress fast just depends on your body an baby some ppl get stuck at 1cm some dont an you can dialate pretty fast an go into labor.
@nerdmamatn, exactly if I'm still pregnant Monday I have an NST and ultrasound to check since I'll be over due in just letting her come on her own
