@scruffy.nerf.herder, @mommaofjais, they sell the kits n Walmart Nd they r surprisingly very good it comes with the baby Nd all I feel so bad when sum1 tries it for the first time and they bite the baby

Up north, we have Paczkis on Fat Tuesday. They’re like jelly-filled donuts, lots of calories. Then Lent season starts where many folks, especially Catholics, give up something like sweets. So Mardi Gras (Fat Tuesday) is their last day to eat up and indulge before Lent.

@mommaofjais, my grandparents wintered in Gulf Shores Alabama each year, and my grandma would make King Cake for her group of friends, complete with the little baby in it. I think that’s a pretty cool tradition, and it sounds delicious!

@dragontrainer1, same. I’m in Michigan, although the Polish have their Paczkis for Mardi Gras, so that has become a tradition for most of us west/northern Michiganders.

@scruffy.nerf.herder, idk about Louisiana, but here in south MS, we only got like 2-3 days off for Mardi Gras. Usually it was that Monday and Tuesday
