Doctor said that my daughter is measuring big (I'm 37 weeks) just by feeling my stomach. Ultrasound on Monday to hopefully get a good estimate on her weight, then we'll schedule my induction from there. Hopefully she isn't too big. I'm terrified of having to have a cesarean.
She'll probably come out average sized, there's no accurate way to tell until she's out. They told my best friend that her baby was measuring normal and she gave birth to a 10lb14oz baby vaginally. You'll be fine, don't let a dr scare you into c section. Remember they make money off of them, and the only time you need one is if there's a medical emergency.
they told me my little one would be 9 pounds but ended up being 7 pounds 9 oz she don't stress to much
I switched Drs because my old dr sent me to a high risk dr and i found that phishy as hell, then I find out he has the highest c section rate in my area. After I switched I talked to my new Dr about it and she told me he'll tell you you'll need to induce, he'll schedule it for a Thursday, and if you're not pushing by 4pm he'll tell you your baby is in danger and may die if you don't get a c section.
