Should I take her to the hospital? I breastfed skin to skin and pulled away to see this
Skin to skin Did you mamas do skin to skin right after pushing your little ones out or did you wait until you got too your recovery room? I never did this with my first as I didn't know shat only being 16. I would really love to experience this and so much more this time around.
Skin changing Is anyone else's skin changing?
my baby temper is low.... so I'm doing skin to skin
Are there any other mamas doing breast milk but not skin to skin? Just pumping then bottle feeding ?

Sounds like she's latching wrong. Mine hurt the first four days then I saw a lactation consultant and she showed me it was wrong even though I swore it was the right way. After that they have never hurt.

Mine hurt for only like 4 or 5 days. One of them even scabbed a little bit, but they don't hurt at all any more lol

@floridamommy1024, what's the correct way if you don't mind me asking

Baby has to be latched from the bottom of your nipple with a wide mouth and you should be able to see the top of the areola. There is pics online if you look up proper latch. Now my daughter just does it by herself Everytime. Also, make sure babies lips aren't curled they got to be open

Mine hurt for several months until I realized she was tongue and lip tied! Don't wait too long to ask for help. They will hurt naturally for a short time, until they toughen up (I had to use lanolin before and after feedings). I remember the first few days, every time she went to latch I would grab the nursing pillow and bite down while it felt like tiny little needles were being shoved into my nipples. They had blood blisters on them! But it's just pain, it's just for a short time, and it will get better. Especially if you ask a profession latch consultant for help :) Good luck hon, we feel your pain, literally!
