Is anyone take anti depressants while pregnant? I might have to go back on it for my anxiety and stress :(

Yeah I became much different in the first 4 days of taking it. I was surprised by it and idk it depends on what your taking and the dosage because I talked to my doc about it and she said I didn't have to stop it if I didn't need tmetalmomma oo@

Only a few days? I read about it and people said it takes about two weeks. I took a half of a 20mg. I felt way more anxiety taking it than not. I'm not taking anything at the moment. I would like to... everyday it's hard to get out of bed. I need some kind of boost. I have a mental health appointment soon. I'm just nervous about taking anything while pregnant. And I do need to stop a month before the baby comes, right? @selizabeth292

I felt like that too but my doc said to give it a few days so I did and it worked out great and it all depends on the dosage too but I'm sorry it didn't work out for you. Are you taking anything for it?@metalmomma

I did not. The feeling was just too intense. I regretted taking it, it was so bad. @selizabeth292

Does zoloft make you feel all weird the first two weeks. My first obgyn appt they prescribed me celexa... I didn't take it for the longest time then I felt like it was time so I tried it for one day and I hated the way it made me feel. Really didn't want to put me or the baby through that for two weeks. I have been diagnosed with severe depression since I was a preteen and I have been going through it lately. Not sure what to do.

I take Zoloft now and use to take Lexapro. Zoloft has given me side effects but OB says it is the safer one she wants me on. @metalmomma

The generic version of Zoloft, called Sertraline and a mood stabilizer called Lamotragine. (spelling may be off on that last one)

yes, I took them long before pregnancy but quit and had awful post partum depression so I'm taking them again this pregnancy.

I was prescribed to antidepressants before I found out I was pregnant and quit taking them but now I'm on a new one. My chronic anxiety was putting more stress on me pregnant than was healthy and causing me to fall deeper j to my depression. Now I feel a little more connected to the idea I'm having a baby and can get out of bed in the morning.
