So I was told I have TMJ.. Never heard nor had it before becoming pregnant! Anyone else experiencing this? I have horrible inner ear👂🏽pain!!😞😣😫

Hi I am into my 15 week now But since last two days am not having good feeling....I just feel something is wrong inside wid d kid...all my symptoms r too less Morning sickness is gone....Metallic taste of my tounge is also less....and I feel pain in my abdoman twice or thrice which is very minor though What should i do i am very confused Already have gone through 5 scans because of changing gynec Just feel that untill i hear the heartbeat or see my kid i wont b ok....got sleepless nights

I have it, it comes and goes. Sucks when your joint is inflamed though.. Try not to chew on hard things or no gum for a while. Ice it also! Usually when mine comes it stays around a week or so

I don't have it but my middle ear has serious issues I've had 2 surgeries and can't hear all the way Ima need a aid but they said I have to be careful cause I guess I can get tmj I'm sorry! It must suck:(

@ritababy123, they told me that it can happen during pregnancy so I assume I was one of the lucky ones😒 sad part is I can't take nothing my Tylenol until the baby gets here. Oh well going to try to ice it

Yeah it can really do a toll on ya! There were times I just cried and cried cos it hurt so much, putting some pressure on it like massaging around those areas might help a little! I'm sorry that you have it too, it's so shittttty

I have it! My ear hurts and when I yawn my jaw will just lock in place and won't close. I have to move my mouth around to close it! It's so painful. My doctor hasn't seen it yet. I chewed a lot of gum when I was nauseous

@G eladactyl, I'm sorry!! Chewing gum will make it worse.. With the ear pain I tend to pull my ear lol it hurts so bad and when it messes with my neck my sweet hubby messages it for me.

I have it 😞. I found someone near me a that does tmj massages and it made the world of difference while I was doing it. I haven't been able to go for a while and I get pain in my neck shoulder and some days my arm. My problem is I grind my teeth at night so if I work to keep my stress level down it tends to be better. Also, I cut all of my food up, even sandwiches, it helps.

@quinnberly, omg yes my shoulder and arm hurt so bad at times!! I need to look into TMJ massages. I love sandwiches!! Ugh I try my best to make sure I don't eat chewy things.. I don't know if I grind or not at night.

@lucylu2, there isn't much you can do outside of that. Gum is my weakness lol. Another thing I do is try to check myself when I'm stressed to make sure I'm not clenching my jaw or all tensed up. The more relaxed you can be the better for yourself 😊
