Concerned about how much milk I "should" be producing right now. My daughter will be 7 weeks old on Tuesday, she nurses frequently throughout the day and if I get a chance to pump is usually between 2:00 and 4:00 AM, while she's sleeping. Normally if I'm "full" because she hasn't eaten in three hours or so, I get a good 5-6 ounces out of both my breasts combined. Is this enough, or should I be producing more by now? What are other mommy's with a child around my daughter's age producing? Thanks in advance!!! 😘
You're welcome ! I'm an exclusive pumper so I know that feeling of not producing enough/feeding enough but her pediatrician reassured me that as long as she's normally dirtying and peeing diapers I was giving her exactly what she needed- I would only be concerned if your not getting normal pee/dirty diapers or if her ped tells you she's not gaining weight properly. Just stay positive & trust your body & babygirl💕
@paisleysmama0216, thank you for the support! Definitely makes me feel better 😘
My son is almost 5 months and I pump like 4 oz every 3-4 hours. And I exclusively breast feed
