Depending how it all goes, I'll probably do the same thing. I don't plan to go into the hospital until I absolutely have to anyways. I want to labor at home and baths and showers help tremendously with pain relief!

When my water broke they had to start my labor so I didnt have to rush to the hospital. I wanted to take a shower but water kept gushing out and running down my legs like a water fall so it would have been pointless lol

My mom told me she did her hair and makeup before so that she could look like the girls in the soap operas while giving birth haha. In my birthing class video, the nurse said that to save yourself time in the hospital, you really don't have to come in until your contractions are so bad that you can't talk or walk during them.

when I had contractions that were close in my last 3 pregnancies I didn't rush off to the hospital I took a bath I shaved I did my toes and my hair waited for my mom to pack my snack bag and then I went to the hospital
