how much blood is to much blood for spotting after an exam to check for dialation?

One gush maybe ok, but if it happens again I would definitely have someone look into it. Good luck.

@jjbutton, it like spots until after i wipe then i get a gush it just happened again beforw i talked to my ob. after the gush im fine for a little bit if it happens again im going in.

@heykaidensmom, i will my ob said to just stay up and keep an eye on it to make sure i didnt break my water but i think if i did that there would be a lot more. idk im just paranoid.

I've spotted a few times (2 out of 3 checks). First two times, it was a few hours later and I spotted very little at a time, but until the next morning. One of those times I had a blood clot. The last time (Monday), I actually bled a good amount on the exam table. My doctor came back in to check. I had a blood clot and she stopped the bleeding by sticking a speculum and cotton swabs up me. I didn't bleed at all after that. It probably would have been fine if I was at home and eventually stopped like the rest. Just watch it, make sure it's not a whole lot (just light spotting), and that it does stop.

@heykaidensmom, i lost my mucus plug like a month ago. i already started dialating. im at 1 1/2 cm but my last exam two weeks ago i bled afterwords but not like what i explained. i think i am gonna call them thank you

@mariahs_mama, might be a little mucus plug maybe? My doctor always told me as long as it wasn't bright red and a lot then it should be fine. Call and see what they say?

like the queef like thing was super wet and it just pushed out.

@torialvess, well it was wierd like i had the exam at 2 pm amd around 630 7 pm i used the bathroom when i wiped and there was a little tinge of it and i finished up and as i was washing my hands i like queefed it felt like yes i laughed at myself but i like stuck my hand down there and it was like bloody so i sat back on the toilet wiped again and it looked like a bunch of pink diacharge with bright red spots and it filled the tissue so i put a pad on but i didnt check it yet.

What's it look like?

Anything that is bright red or fills a pad in a couple of hours I think
