No meds I just had to check my blood suger like 6 times a day, a special diet and I had to write down everything that I ate. And I had her normal and at 37 weeks due to high blood pressure

If you have gestational diabetes it will affect you and the baby both. But try not to worry about it right now as well as you will need to fast from 12pm on try to do it in the morning

I don't know, you would know more than I would- it all depends on what your doctor said! But yes, usually if your number comes back higher than 140, you will need to take the 3 hr. However, I can't tell you when you'd need to go in- that you'd need to ask them. I was just wondering what you were originally asking because you wanted to know if it is bad for the baby- but I wasn't sure if you meant the test itself or having high blood sugar.
