It's dangerous the baby can become distressed easily. They usually try to get the baby to turn prior to and if not maybe a c-section... I honestly don't know that much about it but I know it's considered a high risk delivery of its a vaginal delivery
it could be the feet or butt is down towards the pelvic region instead of the head.. it can be a high risk vaginal delivery and I don't think that it can cause distress on the baby.. if you go into labor and they haven't flipped they will typically do a c-section... you could try some position maneuvers to try to help flip them. you can google how to naturally turn my baby head down and there are tons of things you can do

The feet are closest to your vagina and it's a harder deliver than the head down position

babies can turn even during labor! A breech baby doesn't automatically mean a c-section. They have room to turn in there for awhile! :)
