I think you should be straight up and honest about it lol seriously in a nice way to them. Even though it's very generous of the person! And as @mommytoaz said u never no someone in desperate need may stull use them despite the condition of the items!! And be sure to tell that person u don't do or expect hand me downs!! All my son things is new but I am going to donate his newborns he only wore but once some still new! Do what's best for you and ur child! @mom2016

just tell them you appreciate it but you would rather stuff be new cause you don't know what could've happened to them previously, it may sound rude but she can't force you to take something just ask her to stop buying these things or taking them,

my MIL got a high chair from a garage sale and it was sun damaged and cracked like no I appreciate it but I want nothing but the best for my child

Take it somewhere and donate it , for pregnant mamas who are struggling or just tell her you'd rather new things for your newborn due to her immune system being weak

I thanked her already but I don't understand why she pressing the issue. Every single one of my friends kno how I am. I don't take nothing from no1 I rather then give it to someone they kno that's less fortunate. I'm kno my baby will have tons of stuff & they kno that.. However I do feel like if u gon pass something down clean it first make it presentable @mommytoaz

Lol or you could always donate it to a church, they'll take most everything! I did that with a lot of things that were given to me that weren't in my "style" is rather someone use it than throw it out!

sometimes it's the thought counts & you never know what someone else may need reguardless of the condition , you should just accept & donate if you aren't satisfied with it @mom2016
