Does anyone else have like a ton of piercings? An there making you take them out when going to the…

Ya that's what I thought... I don't really wanna have to take them all out... An I really hope they don't all close up that would suck but doctor told me they need to come out.. I think it's just protocol witch hope everything goes well! @wildflower16

I'm sure it will! depending on how long you've had them in for I'm sure it would take a good while until they close up. you'll be fine :)

I took all mine out before I hit my second trimester lol but that was just personal preference

probably told you they would need to come out bc you can never predict an emergency c-section...that's what mine told me and thankfully I had taken mine out bc I did have to have one and they would have had zero time to get mine out before I was prepped for surgery bc they were moving that fast to save my baby girl. this time it's a schedules c-section so I already know they have to come out again.

@wildflower16, sure hope so I know it sounds so stupid to be worried about but I look at them as like apart of me to haha plus there not cheap haha

@blueberrybrewing, I tuck my belly button ring out when I started getting big all my other ones are on my face / ear area so trying to wait till last possible min to take them out lol

Yeah it's just for safety and health reasons. Kind of like they don't want your fingernails painted or for you to have make up on before a surgery. It's so they can watch you. Probably want you to take them out just in case something happens and you do have to have an emergency c-section.

Yup! I have my nipples and hood pierced. My doctor told me they had to go... Especially the hood, bc it can tear during labor.

I almost died after my C-section because they didn't realize I had my tongue ring in ave I ended up with a blood infection. So, yeah, take them ALL out, lol!

My doctor had no clue either, he had to research so much to find out what was causing the infection. I'm glad he cared enough to do that. Now I can pass the info and save someone else from going through it.

@mcharee, ya that's fer ser... An makes you feel about better about the doctors or some at least that they tuck the time an you wernt just another person that came through to them they actually cared..
