How much bleeding is normal after a circumcision? My son just had his done about 4 hours ago and I feel terrible changing his diaper because he's bleeding and screaming. I haven't been able to go to the store yet to get baby Tylenol like his doctor suggested.

i suggest always having Tylenol, I've needed it every time after shots and for teething. My second son isn't cut but my first was and he only bleed a VERY small amount. I kept Vaseline on it constantly so the diaper doesn't stick and rip off (causing bleeding) at changes.

@marleybunny, you don't know her transportation situation and it's not fair to judge her.
Put a lot of Vaseline on it then put diaper on him . The Vaseline keeps diaper from sticking to his lil weewee . Aww . Then just later on go get him Tylenol .
i know i understand i just cant imagine the pain hes going through.
It's not that I don't want to give him Tylenol, I do. it's that i have no way to get to the store to buy it until my fiancé is off work. Maybe if you actually read my post you'd notice I said that I haven't had a chance to get to the store. @marleybunny
Go to the doctor forget calling him . My son didn't bleed at all just that yellow stuff
poor thing. how could you not give him tylenol? hes in pain
It's not a lot, maybe quarter sized on the gauze when I change his diaper. But at his last change, it dripped on his leg like twice. @thehowtohippie

thank God for this app. i honestly wouldnt of knowni i would need tylenol & vaseline. thank you ladies
