🚨RANT🚨

So I'm upstairs trying to put my son down for a nap. He never naps by himself so in just trying it out this afternoon. My mom hollers that lunch is ready. I couldn't exactly respond because I was afraid it would wake my son up. So my little sister comes upstairs and tells me that lunch is ready. I told her that I heard mom and would be down in a bit. She went back downstairs. Then 2 minutes later my mom yells my name up the stairs. I respond, "I heard you mom." Not an ounce of attitude was in my voice because I was speaking super softly so I wouldn't wake up my son. I hear her stomp back into the kitchen. Then I make it downstairs. She's slamming stuff around in the kitchen and throwing a fit. I told her I was trying to lay my son down for a nap without me holding him and I couldn't respond super loud. What does she do? She tells me to stop talking. She tells me that everyone is being so sensitive today and that she's going to the grocery store by herself. I said that I was sorry for responding the way I did and that I couldn't come downstairs immediately because I was trying to lay my son down for a nap, I also said that I assumed that she'd sent my sister up 2 minutes before she'd come up herself. "STOP TALKING. You assumed wrong. Just STOP TALKING."

Okay. So I told her that I wasn't being the sensitive one. I was super calm about all of this too. I told her that she was being sensitive (she's been pissy since we got home from Walgreens yesterday-- it's not my fault your blood pressure prescription is expired). "STOP TALKING."

So, I'm going to keep my mouth shut for the rest of the day. I will not respond to anyone, I will keep to myself, and take care of my son. I don't need you yelling at me every five minutes saying I'm snapping at someone or arguing with my sister. Just because I disagree with a statement, make a joke, or even look at someone doesn't mean I'm arguing with them. These people need to get their panties out of their buttholes and STOP BLAMING ME FOR EVERYTHING.

Also, my 14 year old sister gets away with EVERY LITTLE THING she says to me. Earlier she and I were talking about someone's eyebrows. She said, "just give me an eyeliner pencil and some makeup wipes and I'll fix them for you." I simply said, "couldn't you just use a brow pencil?" She says, "No! Eyebrow pencils are more expensive." I simply said, "not really." And she bites back with, "okay jade. I'm not going sit here and argue with you!" What the actual heck. And all my parents have to say is, "Jade stop arguing with your sister." ARE YOU ACTUALLY DEAF?!? I just said not really.
