If you think you're having contractions and they are consistent then I would start timing them.

the first stages of labor can last for weeks. when you're mucus plug comes out, then it's on! it'll be painful, but there isn't any need to go to the hospital until you lose the plug

It could be labor but I felt like that weeks before I gave birth. Try drinking water and laying down if you can... Labor won't go away if you're laying down haha :) you might just be over doing it! Rest up for the big event!
