It's your body and your choice. Make an informed decision. I suggest watching "the business of being born" on YouTube or Netflix with him. It's also a good idea to listen to people such as Ina May Gaskin. Having the right information will help you decide. I wish you the best.

@queeneden, i agree and thats what i was going for but as selfish as it may sound i hate going through pain..ive been dealing with a toothache since i got prego havent gone to a dentist cuz im scared if they gimme a medication it can affect my baby...its like all these things...plus my bf baby daddy wants to have her in a hospital..

I'm doing a water birth and because I hated my first experience in a hospital, I wish I would have done it the first time. It's completely natural, normal, and as your first time it would be incredible to experience and would set the standard for future deliveries. Just my perspective.

I agree with @simplyfirstbaby only cause i want to try water birth as well but I wanna have the 'normal' experience first. Only cause labor a huge part of the process that I want to enjoy (lmao I don't know how I'm trying to justify using that word) just want to remember and experience birth first in a traditional environment plus I feel it will make the second/water birth 9x easier in comparison. I would appreciate it so much more. :) that's just me. Also agree you can do whatever you set your mind to so go for it if that's what you want!

Lol @tashi it's ok it took me awhile too! But I would advise a water birth for your second child so that you could know labor pains first... But I also stand by the notion that women can do anything they set their minds to
