Mommies: how soon is too soon to leave baby for an extended period of time? My husband has a business trip to Orlando in February and our little one will be about 4 months old. I joked with my mom about babysitting and she said they would come stay at our house with the baby. My husband thinks it's too soon for me to leave the baby and I'm planning to breastfeed. It would be about 3 nights. Any thoughts?

You could do it but it would be a lot of work. You have to make sure you have enough milk for your babe while you're gone and you would have to pump while you're gone to keep your supply up.
