they told me not to take a bath or go swimming for 6 weeks. I had a csection and I have stitches so that's probably why.

I would just go by how you feel.  Do you have stitches still or any open cuts, and whether you're comfy in a (probably) tight fitting swim suit.   Swimming is great though, I'd be wanting to go to! @beccamorgan28

If you're done bleeding and feel all healed up, I say go for it.  You just can't wear a tampon for post delivery bleeding.
