@ckatx3, breastfeeding is 98% effective as far as birth control and is only effective if you don't have your period and ovulate, reason why I'm saying that because some people do. I didn't know you can still get your period while breastfeeding but some people do, so it depends on your body.

It's weird that it says you ovulate first when my ob said otherwise. But in any case, if it were me I wouldn't be too worried. lol

I would do some research on it. of you get mixed answers just call your doctor as soon as possible. I've never heard anything about it being bad but I could be wrong.

breastfeeding is actually considered birth control for the first six months if you are nursing every 3 hours and not depending on pacifiers.

It did hurt lol but then it turned into that good type of pain @ce5ce . Lol yes it feels like she's on me all day, I can't complain though I love her @gamermommy83 & fml really :-/ so what do you think about taking like a plan b while breastfeeding? @iloveni0820

I don't know about the breastfeeding part but I was told anytime before 6 weeks pp that you are extremely fertile and highly likely to become pregnant again if you have unprotected sex. its one of the reasons we are told to wait at least 6 weeks. same goes for if you miscarry.

I'm still nursing my 2 yr old. It took me 16 months to get my period back. And feeling like your constantly nursing at that age is normal! lol.

It may cause a dip in supply. But if you're exclusively bfing and haven't gotten your first period, it's highly unlikely you'd end up pregnant. Less than 2 percent of women ovulate before they get their first cycle back.
