Ugh I've hit a road block... I'm applying to community college and I need to take a placement test to enroll but I'm exclusively breastfeeding... any suggestions on how I can make this work? she's not even two weeks old yet and i haven't introduced bottles nor do I want to (please don't push the topic on bottles)

OK thanks @kingryansmom
@ce5ce I took the test in Texas but each part is different you can do math pause and do reading. But talk to your advisor and see. But it shouldn't take longer than 2 hrs so hopefully she won't get hungry if u do it right b4 u go in.
@kingryansmom, yeaaa that's what I was thinking too, because she sleeps awesome when she's full and dry but bring that the test is timed, im not sure how I'll work in another nursing session. BUT joyfully I won't need to. I guess we'll see
@ce5ce nurse b4 your test and then have someone go with you so if she needs to nurse you can pause in between test and nurse her
okay thank you ladies. you guys are a godsend @paisleysmama0216 @whitney @klachappelle
If you are nursing I would like to believe that they'd stop the time while you nurse...you'd probably have to nurse in front of the test proctor so that they know you're not cheating while baby nurses... I suggest calling or going to see your advisor
@ce5ce, I took it a couple years ago and It didn't take me longer than a hour. 20 questions for each section.
yes @klachappelle majority of the test is timed if I remember correctly
I agree with @paisleysmama0216, maybe they can let you take it in a private room and bring your baby with you so if you need to nurse you can do so. I would just be worried that she would become a distraction while you test. Or maybe you can have someone come with you and keep an eye on your daughter and if she needs to nurse you can take a break and nurse her then go back to testing? Is the test timed?
for math and English?? @whitney
Placement test shouldn't take longer than an hour or so,
@paisleysmama0216, I really hope so😓
You may be able to explain problem to your advisor and they may be able to accommodate your needs
