To all of you thinking of trying the ItWorks body wrap to loose inches/weight after pregnancy... Please, please, please test a small area first. I tried this about a year ago, and followed the instructions perfectly (yes, I even tested a small area first on my arm.). For some reason, I had a severe allergic reaction. I'm not allergic to anything, nor have I ever had a reaction to anything before, so this was a big surprise to me. I had to go to the dermatologist, and ended up on pill form medication as well as a topical medication and a few shots in my butt. 😑😒. I just want to make sure each of you wanting to try this product really test it first and wait a few hours in between the test strip and actually using the wrap. It was probably the most uncomfortable and painful thing I've had to deal with.

@ce5ce, no worries! I didn't scar or anything, It healed in about two-three weeks. I just wanted to share my experience because I see A LOT of girls on here who keep talking about trying it. I just hope they test and wait a while before wrapping their whole torso with it. 😁

noooope omg lol I honestly think those things are bs cool to anyone that they work for but I would never try them myself, and this is the reason :( I'm so glad that heald up all good for you cause that looks painful

My cousin sells those wraps. I get the hype about them, fast results and whatnot but this is the reason I'm trying to get in shape via breastfeeding and exercise. It's so much safer.

@emilyyy96___, right??! It happened only days before I went to Vegas for my bachelorette party (of course..) and when I went to the dermatologist, she said, "nice to see you again!" (I got regularly for my acne.) "why back so soon?". I said, "well. I have a small rash." And when I lifted up my shirt, she literally said, "oh shit! What did you do?!?" . Hahaha. She pretty much said its because those wraps are "all natural". People actually have an issues more when natural products than chemically altered ones. Our bodies have to work harder if we are allergic to an natural ingredient. She said there really was nothing I could do to figure out what exact "ingredient" I was allergic to, because there were soooo many in the wrap.

@brightsunsett, my friend was the one who sold it too me, and she felt terrible! I don't blame her though. I just wanted her to REALLY force the "test an area of skin" and "wait an hour after testing" part. I mean, the dermatologist was like $250-$300 after it was all said and done. She gave me my money back of course.

This was almost a year ago when I used this. It was before my bachelorette party. I had never had kids yet. I already have a postpartum compression girdle I plan I wearing after my daughter arrives, until I can get back in the gym. I only used this ItWorks wrap as an extra 'something something' to get ready for the pool parties in Vegas, but, of course that only caused me to have this damn rash. @ce5ce

@ce5ce, right? 😣 And because of the meds I was on, I couldn't really drink that much. Ugh! Haha. Oh well, you win some/you loose some! 😅 Mine was from MamaStrut (http://www.mamastrut.com). It was $130.00 I think. 😊
