Yes cluster feeding and growth spurt could definitely be happening. You can try to pump to increase milk supply and with my first baby he wasn't gaining enough weight so I took Fenugreek pills from GNC 3x a day and that helped me.

Could be cluster feeding. My son was doing that a lot and because he takes so many breaks I would think he was done and he wasn't so he was freaking. If you have a pump I would encourage that. I exclusively pump and feed. He rarely goes on the boob anymore but I pump every two hours just like I would feed him. That way I know he's getting enough. And I drink mothers milk tea it's cheap and helped my supply by far

there is no need to increase your supply he's doing it on his own he's going thru a growth spurt & he's cluster feeding to tell your body to produce more

He is most likely cluster feeding. If he is attached to you all day that is completely normal. I didn't go anywhere or do anything for a month with my daughter, all she wanted to do was nurse. You just have to get through it, and I know first hand it is so hard, but it's worth it. I made it to 15 months of breastfeeding with my daughter and I was so proud of myself! And you most likely don't need to increase your supply, just feed on demand and he will get what he needs.

Thank you @boymom @meganc @kainesmommy @klachappelle I just don't want to have to go to supplementing or formula. I'm trying to keep things all natural with my son for as long as possible. He's literally been hooked to my boobs since 5am, it's difficult to pump when I've got him attached all the time. But I'm going to try to pump every 2 hours. @babymama1015 cluster feeding is when the baby eats in little spurts consistently. For instance my son will eat for anywhere from every 15 minutes to every hour.

you won't have to as long as you keep feeding him on demand it might seem like he's not getting enough but he is & him cluster feeding is telling your Body "hey I need more" lol it would drive me nuts thinking that my son wasn't getting enough because he would literally cry every 15 to 30 minutes but at the end of the day I was worried for nothing because he was gaining weight just like he was supposed to
