They didn't start checking me until I had the Step B test done at 36 weeks.

I didn't get checked until 38 Weeks and that's because I asked them too.

i have an appointment Tuesday and im going to ask. because i have more discharge and its yellow now. my back hurts worse and worse as the days come. contractions are irregular still but def having more. im 34 weeks but i swear shes almost ready to come. @tracynangel @mopace @harata87 @queenquee

Every doctor is different ! I didn't get checked with my first until 35 weeks .. But if during ultrasounds and what not if your cervix is still long and hard they won't check for awhile only if you are showing signs of possible early labor . I went from week 38 with my son 75% effaced and dilated to a 3 and I still had to be induced one day shy of 40 weeks .. If you feel pressure you can ask to be checked !

It all depends on the doctor. I didn't get checked until I was 36 weeks with my kids. But if you're worried about it then u can ask and they will check you..

okay. a friend of mine was getting checked at 32 weeks and was dialated to a 2 for weeks. and I was just thinking how its funny they haven't checked mine. thanks @harata87 !

I think they do around 35 weeks unless you ask them to check you sooner due to pressure and what not !
