Mamas! I need some helpful tips... in our new home we have hardwood floors throughout, and we officially have a little boy who sits up. He's still a little wobbly, but I always have at least two blankets down under him and I'm sitting with him. I want my boy to be able to play and explore on the floor, but I'm so nervous to walk away from him incase he topples and hits his head... So should I just tough it out and let him be...if he falls he falls? Or should I invest in a giant living room rug!? Any other suggestions welcome!! Thanks in advance xoxo

@rjhas2moms, try a foam play mat, a big blanket on the floor, or a blow up mattress that's low on the floor so when he starts crawling it won't hurt

We have hardwood floors also, maybe get an area rug? We have one and it definitely helped when our daughter was still wobbly, I also put her boppy behind her so if she did fall she had something to fall on.

I'd say look into some rugs cuz I mean you're not going to want to sit with him every time he's on the floor. and letting them explore is so fun! :)
