So im 23 weeks and everyone says i just turned 5 months. Im not sure how to tell what month im in.

I'm 22 weeks and consider it to be 5.5 months.

you're almost 6 months cause I consider 24 weeks to be 6 months

@kay80 that chart is so helpful yes!! lmao I got alll messed up cause I was trying to explain why a pregnancy month is 4 weeks and I didnt even know why 😂 but its those lunar months!

This is what I do,

4 weeks = a month

So 40 weeks = 10 months

So you're 23 weeks you say ? Lol divide it by 4

@alicia91, I was confused with the weeks too but this schedule helped me. The finger counting thing is a good thing to remember. Never heard of ut but makes sense

@kay80, yessss! thats what I meant kinda lol! 4weeks is 1 month so count 5 fingers is 20 weeks and the other 5 is another 20 that equals 40 and every finger is the month you are

omg! I meant count on your fingers, 4months is 1 finger, and a month is 4 weeks? Does it make any sense? Its not but this was just easiest to me how my first doctor taught me lol

Pregnancy months go by lunar months. 4week is 1month

Count on your fingers 4 m finger and its 40weeks total and 10 months! Lol for me weeks is soo much easier but thats my way of how I counted the months.
