So my sister is almost 37 weeks with baby number two with her first she didn't feel any of her contractions and only went to the hospital because her water broke and she is 3.5 centimeters dialated an 70 percent effaced and this morning she has had bad period cramps do period cramps get mistaken for contractions or does that mean labor?

I had the contracion timer too. it was very helpful. @tlc82995 tell her to go to l&d. I went a handful of times before i found out I was in labor. never hurts to go and get checked. I had mild contractions for a week before my water broke at 38+5 weeks. so you never know.
She says hers are constant cramps though they never end or get better it's the same pain@vadasmommy2015 @mdomke22
I had an app on my phone called contraction counter I think is what it was called @tlc82995 @lovelyadre @anna.atterberry it was very easy cuz towards the end I would have never been able to really track them myself. I was in just so much pain. you press the button when one starts and when is over press the bottom again. it times how long the contraction is and how long inbetween as well!
ex of how I did it, one start at 645, next would start at 648. etc. 3 mins apart.
when one cramp is over, start timing until you feel the next one. and try timing how long they last @tlc82995 @lovelyadre @anna.atterberry

Yeah how do you time them? I'm getting horrible period cramps and it's confusing how to time them. @mdomke22
