This may be stupid but....how long do contractions last for? I keep having period cramps and lower back pain but it lasts like 3 minutes each time.

Ahhh good luck mama... Last night I was having something similar but it was so random.. my husband got out handy dandy Google and I almost smacked his phone away 😂😂 I was like listen I'll find out eventually..it stopped though hahaha being induced only in the past makes me so dumb to what natural labor actually is!
@nbentley88 lol awww .. yes all these babies will definitely be here before we know it!!! I asked my Dr if I was thinning out otherwise she probably wouldn't tell me. Her movements are super painful though now in my pelvis
@mamakiki3 yeah I just never ask. With my 7yo I was 3cm for weeks and ended up getting induced anyways ): yeah some movements are painful for sure. I have to try and sleep completely stretched out like a pencil lmao, he's literally in every nook and cranny.

Contractions last until the baby comes out 😅 lol but for real though, contractions last longer and longer until baby is born and the time between them is shorter and shorter. The rule is 5.1.1 if the contractions are 5 minutes apart, and are lasting a minute for and it continues for an hour. You are in active labor

Sounds like contractions to me have they been increasing in pain and intensity
It's about the same but earlier it was just pressure and some here and there but now it's like constant like bad period cramps.
And like a constant sharp like stabbing a pain.
