praying for my boyfriend aunt, her and I are both pregnant but her down syndrome test came back abnormal so she has to get ultrasound to check.

Also I remember my dr telling that there's like certain time of pregnancy when you can do the test, like from 18-22 weeks! Am not sure though if that's the right weeks. I just remembered because my doctor was kind pushing me to do it.. And I for sure didn't like it!!

Both my pregnancy I refused that test. I didn't want to know. I said no matter how the baby comes out I will love him no matter what. Plus I hate needles.
They never did that test on me or even mentioned it I'm pissed now an want it done.....wait does it hurt lol??? I feel that my baby is healthy an active honestly no problems just can't wait to give birth ...I'm 37 weeks today:)

A lot of people can get something false positive in the quad screening, which is usually expressed by the doctor .. If it comes out positive you than have an ultrasound to detect any other soft markers abnormalities .. A lot of time everything turns out fine .. Just emphasize the Do not stress yourself until you know for sure !
Yes very true tests can be wrong and I'm sure the baby is fine I will do little prayer as well all we an do is hope for the best :)
@styles24, they told my aunt my little cousin had down syndrome and she came out perfectly fine. sometimes those test can be wrong. I'll keep her in my prayers.
@ashley_abby20, it's called a quad test. they just draw blood and you get your results. I just got mine everything was normal
What happens if you don't get that test done ? And what happens when you do how is it done.....? # anyinfo
