I had my wisdom teeth pulled while pregnant and obviously couldn't take pain killers, I used orajel severe and it worked wonders. Clove oil also eliminates the pain but is harder to find!

vanilla flavoring. don't swallow. just hold it in the side of the mouth with the sore tooth for a few minutes. the alcohol in it is what helps.

sadly the er won't do anything about a tooth ach but give some pain medicine and refer you to a doctor. salt water!! best thing for it take some ibuprofen, its an anti inflammatory,so It will help more than Tylenol would. get some sleep and call your dentie in the morning or if you don't have one your MD will see you and probably refer you to one,but give you pain medicine in the mean time
