Depends on the technology they have, older machines can't see as well without the full bladder. I would sit down and watch Netflix while drinking the water at the office. Standing makes it worse when I have to pee. Good luck!

Yeah don't drink all of it , because I did and I was so uncomfortable I couldn't move and I started crying . they told me I didn't need to drink it all I was so mad

You don't have to drink the full 32 Oz, they just want you to drink enough that your bladder is full.

Hahaha. It's really bad for doctors to encourage pregnant woman to hold their urine! Someone's gonna get a bladder infection or UTI or something! And I'm pretty small! So 32 oz to me is literally like drinking an entire gallon! I can barely drink 1 bottle of water in a 15 min sitting without being so full and throwing up!

I remember when I had mine and every time the lady pressed on my belly I swear I thought I was just gonna pee all over the room. But once your in the moment of watching your child on the screen you don't really think about peeing.

My bladder wasn't full, I seriously went pee right before I had mine. They saw baby just fine, down to bein able to see if she had a cleft lip or not

Full bladder means they can see baby better

You just have to fight the urge! Luckily you're not at the point of pregnancy where it'll leak out ;)

my midwife tells me to drink two 8oz cups of water. you don't have to drink all that.
