Got my phone call to drink 16 oz of water before my ultrasound on Wednesday. Please tell me they let you pee halfway…

@melissamichele05, I gotta go on Wednesday I'm so nervous I won't be able to do it kuz it'll be hard not to wake up n pee n than to hold it while they press on my bladder is terrible

Wow they said your not allowed!! That's insane. They can't expect you to pee yourself!

I have had two boys and am pregnant with a girl. With my boys, my bladder was always empty. This ultrasound, they wanted it full. I said "Ok, but I will end up peeing before we are done" They tried to tell me I wasn't allowed. I said "Well unless you want me to pee on your table or have my stomach hurt so bad I vomit everywhere, I will pee." Halfway through, I got up and peed.

Yes im thinking about how much I love the ultrasounds and could lay there all day but this one I won't even be able to enjoy😔

My technican made me go pee because my bladder was squishing the baby and he wasn't cooperating. She said that you only have to have a full bladder for making sure your cervix is closed. I was happy too cause I had to go so bad lol

Im dreading this lol. Im so excited to find out the sex of the baby but not excited to hold my pee that long

They'll press on your bladder too at some point. It sucks soo bad.
